Here's an informal bio on the site's founder and publisher.
I'm 69 years old and live near Raleigh, North Carolina. My background is in publishing and education. I presently do contract work for the Chicago Sun-Times of Chicago. I have taught communication, English, and computer subjects for Keller Graduate School of Management, Devry University since 1980. In 2010 I began facilitating Humanities course for the University of Phoeenix.
The pride of my life have all graduated and started brilliant careers. My sons: Calico- RealNetworks in Seattle, Chris- web marketing analyst, and Bruce - accountant at Ahlbeck & Co. in Chicago. My daughter Helen is working as a reading teacher in a nearby community. My wife, Eileen, recently retired after many years of diligent service as an RN.My academic background includes a B.A. in radio-TV from Ohio Wesleyan University, an M.A. in Speech Arts (Telecommunications and Film) from San Diego State University, and a Ph.D. in Communication from Temple University in Philadelphia.
I have published a monograph, Understanding Pictures in Papua New Guinea, and various articles, etc. I served as a literary agent, which filled me with skepticism when it came to submitting my own work. So, like you, I have written, and stored, my great American novel for later use. Maybe some day I will release it!
