Michael Budnicki

        Editor, Lyrics and Verse

Editor Michael J Budnicki was born August 1, 1957 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. He is the third out of four children born to his father, Xavier, a prominent physician, and his mother, Ingrid, a surgical nurse.

He graduated from Perth Amboy High School in 1978, Perth Amboy Vocational School in 1979, Charles Chapmen School of Seamanship in 1980, Brick Computer Science Institute in 2000. He was nominated for Who’s Who in 2005.

His life's passions include: beautiful writing, music, women, good food, and the ocean.

He has been married twice and has no children.

In 1981, while working on and around the water, Mike earned his USCG (United States Coast Guard) License for passenger-carrying vessels.

He married, but even though he loved the sea, he knew he needed a more secure and steady income. So, he entered the healthcare industry where he spent the next twenty-five years.

He returned to school in 2000 to supplement his career options, and he received training in computer programming. Later, Mike had to take early retirement, because he suffered a severe stroke at the age of forty-four.

After receiving a lot of rehabilitation, he went back to school in an effort to return to a more productive lifestyle. However, he had to stop his goal because of his deteriorating health.

Mike states, “I believe that things happen for a reason, and the good Lord never gives you more than you can handle. I’m still doing what I love and loving what I do whether it be sailing a boat, helping my fellow man, working and playing on my computer, or just spending that special time in that special place and letting the words that flow from me paint my writings that I so adore.”
