I have a doctorate degree from The Union Institute and University, a distance-learning program based in Cincinnati, Ohio. My specialization is Social Psychology. I also have a Master of Social Work Degree from Wayne State University. I live and work in Marquette, Michigan as a Clinical Social Worker for Teaching Family Homes, an affiliate of Boy’s and Girl’s Town. I have a husband, three boys and a dog. I have four short stories published, a book that is written and in need of a publisher, and a book in progress. My first love has always been short stories and journal writing. I write like some people eat popcorn. My varying interests include: art, singing, gardening, and reading. I am currently trying to teach myself how to play the piano.
