 Andropov gave a speech.  A KGB official passed him a note,
"Someone wants to kill you."  He continued his speech undisturbed. 
A little later, the KGB official whispered in Andropov's ear, "We
just got information that the   assassin is in this room."  "Andropov
said, "It must be that man in the third row, second from left."  Two
KGB officials seized him and found he had a gun.  Amazed, they asked
Andropov how he recognized the would-be   assassin.  "As Lenin said,"
he replied" the enemies of the revolution never sleep!"
