About...   MEET THE CZAR, IF YOU DARE

Czar is a wolf hybrid that strangers love to pet and say, "He sure is friendly!" Then comes THE question, "What kinda dog is he?" When I reply, "He's a wolf hybrid." The look on most peoples face says "Whew, I'm glad he didn't go for my throat."

The premise of the piece is that all dogs are Canis lupis hybrids. Therefore, the breed of dog doesn't matter, the issue in the wolf/dog debate is responsible ownership, not canine genetics. In 6,000+ words, I review the trials and tribulations of my experience in training large alpha male canines, including a wolf hybrid from my youth.
