Two Seashells Apart

She looked outside the window and the bright light shone onto her face. She squinted a little bit and then tried to adjust to the amount of light that was outside. There was clear blue water just below her; she could almost taste the water sliding through her soft smooth skin, as she would dive into the ocean.

Diana was a young woman, and as a young woman her blood was full of energy and taste for adventure. She loved to travel, even though alone she didn’t mind. She had shoulder length black hair that was always tied back to a ponytail. From a first impression, many had portrayed her to be fierce and strict, but that was not her, not Diana. On the inside, she was warm and kind, soft and gentle like a virgin. All this was ready to come out but only for the chance to be given. But this Diana was far beyond ready, she was on her own and this was all she needed, just minutes away from the island.

As the plane landed onto the water, she could feel her heart beat faster and faster and finally it made a skip as the plane stopped halfway near the shore. Diana grabbed her bags and headed for the door. She thanked the captain and he helped her down from the plane. She quickly walked through the water and headed for shore, because the plane was to take off again. As her feet touched the sand, she could feel the hair on her body standing up. The feeling of sand under her feet and the wind blowing towards her was just perfect. She grabbed her bags again and headed on to the cabin areas.

After minutes of walking, Diana finally reached the cabin areas. She entered the information cabin first, seeing maybe to let them know she had arrived safely, and also to see if there was any further information she needed to know. A plump middle-aged lady was sitting at the information counter as Diana entered and approached her.

“Hello there, love!” she greeted Diana with a big friendly smile.

“Hi!” Diana replied.

“So how can I help you?” she asked.

“Well I just arrived and was just wondering if you could show me to my cabin, I’m in cabin 3.” Diana replied.

“Ah, you are Miss.Diana Entienne!” she said with a happy tune.

“Yes.” replied Diana.

“Alright then love, I’ll get Willy to help you with your bags and show you to your cabin!” she said.

Diana thanked her and she soon disappeared to the back. Soon after she came back, “Willy, will be right with you love!” she said. Diana smiled and thanked the lady again. While waiting, Diana opened her bag and grabbed some grapes out from the plastic bag and began to eat them. She loved grapes; she loved everything about them! The size was just right for the whole fruit to be put in your mouth, it was soft to chew, and she just loved the taste of it. This also reminded her of her favourite colour, purple! While Diana was dazing off about her grapes, suddenly Diana felt a tap on her shoulder. Startled by it, she almost dropped her grapes. Diana quickly spun around and saw a young man standing there.

“Hi there! I’m William,” said the young man.

“Hello, I’m Diana,” she said shyly.

“Right, just hand me your bags and I’ll show you to your cabin miss,” he said with a smile.

Diana smiled back; knowingly she was shy around guys her age. He took her bags, one he swung onto his shoulder and the other two he carried on each hand. Diana offered to help, but he refused to let. He led her to her cabin and settled her bags down in front of her door.

“So, do I give you a tip or something?” she asked, later feeling a bit silly.

“Nah! No sweat about it!” he said and walked off back towards the information cabin.

Diana dragged her bags inside and started to unpack her bags. She thought of what to do first and that was to go exploring on the island. Suddenly somehow she thought maybe she could ask William to join her. She shook her head and said

“Snap out of it! I’m here to enjoy what I came for! And I don’t need any guy interfering, at least not now.”

‘But what if he wants to come? No, he might be busy, yeah that’s right, he could be busy!’ Diana thought in her head.

It wasn’t until her cellphone rang that Diana realized that it was a waste of time trying to figure out if William could be interested to join her. She ran towards her bag and unzipped it; she took the cellphone out and answered it.

“Hello?” she answered.

“Hi honey, it’s mom!” said her mother.

“Oh hi mom! I’ve already arrived safely,” Diana told her mother.

“That’s good to know honey! How is everything there?” asked her mother.

“It’s alright I reckon, I just arrived and was thinking of going out to explore a little bit” she said.

“Now honey, you be careful when you do that! I don’t want you getting hurt. You watch out where you put your feet and don’t touch anything that doesn’t look familiar or friendly, you understand me?” asked her mother.

“Yes mother, I understand and I know!” Diana replied, rolling her eyes.

“Mother you worry too much! Try to relax, take a vacation!” she suggested to her mother.

“What a good idea! I’ll tell your father and we’ll join you!” said her mother.

“No mother not here! This is my vacation! You and dad go somewhere else!” begged Diana.

“Oh, Diana my dear child, you always think you own the world! Don’t be selfish, it’ll be fun! A family vacation!” said her mother.

“Oh goody! I can’t wait for you and daddy to come!” said Diana, sarcastically.

Then they both said their good-byes and Diana went off unpacking her bags.

The day seemed fine and the weather was warm, so Diana was off down to the beach. She wore denim shorts with a bright yellow top and her bright pink sandals. She had her sunblock applied on earlier, she had her sunglasses on and she was off down to the beach. While walking, she was listening to her discman and singing to it, when suddenly William called out for her

“Hey Diana! Diana! Where you off to?”

Diana couldn’t hear him and continued walking. William thought maybe this little pebble might attract Diana, and threw it aiming at her butt.

“Ouch…” said Diana softly, looking around. There was William laughing and grinning at her.

“Hey, what’ up your bum?” asked Diana, irritated.

“Whoa! I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to! I was just calling after you, and you didn’t seem to hear me.” William said, trying to explain his action.

“Yeah, so you thought you’d kill me!” said Diana angrily.

“No… of course not!” protested William.

Diana smiled and said, “No I’m just playing.” Then walked towards William.

“So what is it that you want?” asked Diana.

“Well let me repeat myself!” said William.

“Where… are… you… going?” William asked dragging his words.

That made Diana laugh so much that she had tears in her eyes, then she replied

“Well I’m just going down to the beach.”

“You swimming?” asked William.

“No, just sitting there and listening to some music.” Answered Diana. Then she walked off waving good-bye to William.

Down at the beach there weren’t many people, so it was easy to get a nice spot. Diana picked a nice one near the water where she was comfortable to lie down and let the water run through her feet. While lying down, she thought of William. She thought of how nice of a young man he was. He was also a gentleman because he didn’t let her carry her own bags, even when she offered to lend a hand. Diana also noticed how nice his smiles were, and how she would just gaze at his smiles when she had any chance. She also thought he had a nice clean haircut, short and clean! William was blonde, tall and handsome, he was a bit muscular but well built. His arms were strong and he was funny too, but more cheeky and naughty, thought Diana. And she soon dozed off…

She was awakened by the tides, it was starting to get high, Diana noticed! She was wet from her waist down. She quickly got up and rubbed her eyes. She must have dozed off she thought; it was getting a bit dark so Diana took off for her cabin to change. While she was changing, there was a knock on her door. She went to see who it was, so she opened her door and found that plump lady again, who was at the information counter.

“Good evening love! I just came by to check on you.” She said with a big smile. Somehow she reminded Diana so much of her grandmother, who was always smiling and each smile made her feel so warm inside.

“Oh thanks, I’m fine here!” replied Diana.

“Good, listen dinner will be at 7 sharp! So be there down at the hall,” she said pointing to a big building not too far away.

“Alright thank you!” thanked Diana.

“You’re welcome love, and by the way I’m Mrs.Micheals” she said, and then start walking off. Diana closed her door and looked at the clock, it was a few more minutes to 7. So she thought that maybe she should get ready now, so Diana grabbed a pair of shorts with a white top and headed on outside. She took her time walking while watching the scenery and admiring it. She finally arrived at the hall and saw there were a lot of people there. Diana was always shy around people, especially when there were a lot of them, but she knew there was no point in being shy now, because she was really hungry. She hadn’t had anything since morning! She set off for a plate and lined up. There was too much food to pick from, but Diana only took what seemed familiar to her. Her eyes wondered around trying to find a seat. When finally something caught her eyes. It was William, waving his hands wildly at her.

“Oh god,” said Diana and headed down to where William was. There, William was seated with a few more guys.

“Hey, you wanna join us?” asked William.

“Um… sure!” replied Diana nervously. William pulled a chair next to him and Diana sat there. They each introduced themselves and Diana did the same. It was quiet at first, but then William started to say something to his friends. Diana tried to eat but she couldn’t, so she ate as much as she could. Later she asked to be excused and headed for the dessert table. She took some grapes and an apple and thought she’d eat them back in her cabin. She waved at William and his friends as she was walking out and heading on back to her cabin. There in her cabin, she decided to call her mother again. She dialed the number on her cellphone and waited for it to get connected. It rang for a bit but no one seemed to be picking it up. So she thought maybe her parents must have gone out for dinner, it was like her mother not to cook when she’s all alone at home. Normally Diana would help her mother cook, but since she was not home, her mother didn’t cook at all.

So she finished her fruit and thought she could head on to bed early. Maybe she could get an early start…

After tossing and turning, Diana couldn’t fall asleep. She got up and pulled on her pair of jeans and white top again. She opened her door and locked it behind her. She started walking off down to the beach and towards the rocky area. There, she sat down watching the rough tide splashing against the rocks. Suddenly a few pebbles start to fall from above her; she turned around and saw William.

“What are you doing? Spying on me?” she asked.

“No, just following you! See there’s a difference!” he answered. William climbed down and sat right next to Diana.

“So, couldn’t sleep hey?” he asked.

“Yeah,” answered Diana.

“So… how come you’re here on the island alone?” asked William.

“Just on a vacation on my own,” answered Diana.

“Oh, that’s nice! I’m here cause my aunt works here and mostly during holidays I’d come around to help.” He told her.

“That’s very nice! Do you get paid?” she asked.

“No, staying here for free and doing anything I want is enough for me,” he explained.

Diana nodded her head. William smiled and Diana smiled back.

“Wait here!” said William

“I’ll be right back!” as he got up and run off. Soon after he got back and brought a big bowl, Diana wondered what was in that bowl. When William came back and sat next to her, she leaned closer to see what was in the bowl and it was full of all sorts of fruit.

“Here I brought some snacks,” he said as he took a grape and put it into his mouth. Diana smiled and began to reach for the fruit.

Their conversations went on for hours, they talked about their homes and themselves, and everything about what they each liked. William seemed interesting and he also seemed to understand Diana, when she told him of her problems and few secrets. They continued laughing at what William had told about his attempt to ask a girl out, but it failed. Diana put in a grape in her mouth and suddenly William leaned closer and kissed Diana. Later he let go and grinned at Diana, showing her that he’d gotten her grape in his mouth. Diana smiled shyly.

“Hey, you stole my grape,” said Diana shyly, looking down. By this time William had already chewed and swallowed the grape. William smiled and gave a small laugh and leaned closer again to kiss Diana. As they were pashing on each other, Diana took a strawberry and pushed it between their lips and they continued kissing each other as the strawberry juice dripped from the side of their mouth.

“Oh yuck…” said Diana laughing and wiping her mouth.

“Mmm… I kindda liked it,” said William smiling. Diana reached her hand to William’s mouth and wiped the juice off his chin. Diana smiled and William smiled too, their eyes were just locked together, smiling at each other as Diana wiped his chin. Then William grabbed her hand and put her finger into his mouth to taste the juice, and then he licked her fingers, as he looked into her eyes and smiled. He kissed her fingers, then her hand, and he pulled her closer and they began to kiss again.

“Diana, I like you! I like you a lot!” said William taking a breath, while licking his lips and continuing to kiss her. Diana pulled away,

“I like you too William,” she said with a smile. They both smiled and continued kissing.

After a while, Diana pushed William away and said “I think I should head on back to my cabin.”

“Yeah, I think you’re right!” said William.

They both got up and started walking off towards the cabins. William walked Diana to her cabin and she gave him a goodnight kiss, then he headed down the road. Diana closed the door behind her and went straight to bed, there she just stared at the ceiling and day dreamed about what just happened between her and William, and finally she dozed off to sleep.

The morning ray shone onto Diana’s face as she turned away and slowly opened her eyes. She woke up with a sweet smile on her face as she still lay in bed day dreaming about last night. She finally got up and got ready. This morning since she felt very happy she wore bright colours. She had red pants on with a pink boob tube; she also had her nice earrings on, and finally to go with all this she wore her sweet beautiful smile. As she opened the door, William was already standing right in front with two daisies in his hand. She took them from him and kissed him on his cheeks, thanking him. Diana thought William smelled very nice this morning, but she didn’t compliment him on that.

“C’mon, I’ll walk you over for breakfast!” said William.

“Mmm… I’m starving!” said Diana, as they both began to walk towards the hall, William held onto her hand as they walked together.

William brought Diana her plate and asked what she wanted; she said she’d rather have a bowl of cereal. So William came back with a bowl and Diana took it from him to fill her bowl with some cereal. Later William saved a table for two and they both had breakfast together. They started off with their conversations again; surprisingly they still had things to talk about.

“Would you like join me for a swim later tonight?” asked William as he drank his orange juice.

“Sure, but wouldn’t it be cold at night?” asked Diana wiping her mouth.

“No, of course not,” said William.

“Not when we’re together in the pool,” William said mumbling to himself while laughing.

“What was that?” asked Diana, who didn’t seem to hear William.

“Nothing,” William said shaking his head still laughing to himself. And they continued their conversation.

After breakfast they both headed on down to the road for a walk and William decided to show Diana the whole island and his favourite spots. He took her to an open grassland which overlooked the whole beach from the top. There, they both lay next to each other holding hands and looking at the clouds. They were talking about how clouds could have shapes of something and they were pointing at them, which seemed to have those shapes. Diana got up and lay on her side resting her head on her arm looking at William,

“William,” she began.

“Yeah?” asked William.

“Have you noticed that your eyes are as blue as the sky?” asked Diana shyly as she gave him a sweet smile.

“No, I didn’t notice it,” said William, smiling back at her.

“And have you noticed that your lips are as red as those strawberries last night?” asked William.

Diana looked down as she smiled, she knew she was blushing.

“Yeah, I noticed it myself, it’s exactly like those strawberries, yummy…” said William as he pulled her down towards him. He licked her lips first and then kissed her. After they kissed for a while, Diana lay on William’s arm and they were both cuddling each other.

By this time Mrs.Micheals were calling out for William to help her. He hadn’t heard her until she was near. William quickly got up and ran towards the call. Then he forgot about Diana, he ran back to her.

“I’ve got to go now as you can see,” he told her, laughing as he was trying to catch his breath.

“Alright then, I’ll see you again later.” She said.

“Ok, I’ll see you at lunch,” he said.

“Well ok, but I can’t promise, cause I’m not too hungry,” she said.

“Ok, if I don’t see you at lunch I’ll come by later for dinner and then we go swimming ok?” he asked.

“Alright!” she said. Then William ran back to where he was called. Diana walked slowly towards the beach and she walked along the shore as the water splashed on her feet. She had picked a few seashells, which she thought looked nice and brought them back to her cabin.

Diana wasn’t very much hungry, but she went to the hall just to see if William was hungry and she thought she’d accompany him. She searched for William but he was not in sight. She went back to her cabin and thought that maybe William was busy, so she’ll wait for him tonight. To kill her time she phoned her mother and then a few of her friends. She had told them everything about William and they all seemed so jealous of her, she was the first to have a holiday fling. Diana knew holiday flings only last for as long as it could last, but usually never that long. So she had to be careful, she didn’t want to fall for William too deeply, because in the end they both would end up getting hurt and she didn’t want that. She thought that maybe she could fall for him, but not in too deeply. At least she was having fun and she had someone to talk to, that’s all that counts for now.

William dropped by few minutes before dinner and asked Diana to wear her swimsuit inside because the place that he was taking her is right after the hall and he didn’t think she would want to walk all the way back to her cabin, get changed and then go swimming. He thought that was a waste of their precious time. So Diana got ready and they both walked off for dinner. Over at dinner Diana asked

“So what did you do all day?”

“Thought of you while doing my work,” he answered with a grin. Diana nodded shyly at him.

“Well what did you do all day then? I didn’t see you over at lunch,” asked William.

“I wasn’t very hungry, but I passed by to see if you were here and I thought I’d accompany you, but you weren’t around so I thought you were busy and left,” answered Diana. William nodded and said

“Yeah, I passed by too but I wasn’t too hungry.”

“Well c’mon then, are you done?” asked William.

“Yes I’m done,” replied Diana.

They both headed on to the roads and started walking together. William held onto Diana’s hand because it was dark and he didn’t want to lose her, he wouldn’t want to. They passed the open grassland and finally came to a small swimming pool, but it was covered with small stones and pebbles around it, it was beautiful. William got in first and started splashing water at Diana. She ran to cover herself but he got up and ran after her. He finally caught her and carried her into the pool. It was cold but she didn’t mind. They swam around and Diana held on to William’s back, riding on him as he swam around and then dived underwater. Diana would hold onto William as he dived underwater and while they were underwater she would hold onto him tightly.

“William, do you find it funny if you were dancing in the water?” asked Diana.

“I don’t know, let’s try,” he said grabbing on to her waist. Diana giggled, finding it a bit funny but after she went with it. They danced under the stars closely holding onto each other. Diana held William on his shoulders tightly, William held onto Diana tightly by her waist as both their foreheads touched each other and as they both looked into each other’s eyes.

“No it doesn’t feel funny,” William said smiling at Diana as he moved his lips closer to Diana’s and kissed her. Diana kissed him back deep and passionately. They kissed as they still danced under the stars. As they danced, Diana looked into William’s eyes and gave him a sweet smile. She leaned closer to place her cheeks on his and rest there.

“Something in the summer is making me grow in love with you,” whispered William.

“And it’s like the wind is blowing me into your arms,” William continued to whisper.

Diana looked into William’s eyes and felt she should say something, but she knew she didn’t have to, because William already knew how she felt. As Diana held onto William’s shoulder she could feel herself getting weak by him, she was breathing him, she could feel him and it made her melt to feel his body heat on her. She felt so warm holding onto him that she came closer and rested her head on his shoulders while he kissed her neck gently.

After a long night together, William walked Diana back to her cabin. Diana turned around and kissed William deeply and passionately.

“Good night and sweet dreams, William” she said.

“You too,” he said and reached for her and kissed her again. Diana watched him as he walked away and she entered her cabin.

Over the next few days Diana and William were inseparable, they spent each day together and each night down at the beach or at the pool. He would often take her to the fruit farm they had there and he would carry her on his shoulder while she grabbed some fruit she wanted. And they both would eat the fruit together as they would talk. He lay on her as she would be sitting and she would play with his hair and run her fingers though them. She would also caresses his cheeks and run her fingers through his lips, and William would kiss her fingers.

Other times William would take her fishing in his little boat, but Diana didn’t enjoy fishing that much, she hated the thought of touching those worms. So it was only William who did all the catching, but once he had caught the fish he would set it free again. Later on, Diana would lie on William and they both would just doze off until it was time to go back.

A few weeks after, William came knocking on Diana’s cabin. She opened the door and he quickly leaned forward and kissed her. She smiled and kissed him back.

“Here, I’ve got this. It’s for you,” said William.

“What’s this?” asked Diana.

“It’s a letter, go ahead and open it,” William suggested. Diana quickly ripped the envelope and pulled the letter out. She read it and it was from her mother.

“What does it say?” asked William.

“My dear child Diana, we understand that you are having such a lovely time over at the island,” Diana began to read.

“Oh yeah that’s for sure,” said William and Diana grinned.

“But I’m afraid you’ll have to cut it short…” Diana continued reading softly. She read more to herself and the look on her face William didn’t like at all. She looked worried and upset, and also confused.

“Is anything the matter?” asked William feeling concerned.

“Well, I think my father’s gone mad,…” answered Diana, but she was a bit confused by that. She wasn’t too sure whether to say he had gone mad or not.

“Mad?” asked William.

“Yes I think so, that’s what mother wrote,” answered Diana.

“I see, so what are you to do now?” asked William.

“Mother wants me to come home,” answered Diana.

“I see…” said William. Diana looked at William to see what he would say to this, but he said nothing. Tears start to form in her eyes and then start rolling down her cheeks. William reached his hands to Diana and held her, wiping her tears away gently and kissing her head.

“But William, what if I don’t see you again?” she asked crying.

“You will Diana, you will,” answered William.

“I’ll always be here,” William continued.

“But I won’t…” said Diana.

“You could always come back,” said William.

“Maybe in a long time, not all the time William,” said Diana, still crying. William knew he didn’t want Diana to leave but there was no other choice. He stood there, hugging Diana for a while and then asked her

“Diana, will you come out with me tonight? I want to bring you to this place and I’m sure you’ll love it.” Diana looked up and wiped her eyes.

“All right William,” she answered.

Later that night William came by Diana’s cabin, he told her to wear something warm. They both held hands and walked over to the dining hall. Neither of them had any appetite to eat, so dinner ended early for these two. As William held Diana’s hand leading her towards his little boat, he could tell her hands were cold and she was scared. He hugged her as they walked,

“It’s gonna be ok,” said William, and then gently kissed Diana on her forehead. Diana looked up and smiled at William, she knew everything was all right, especially when she was with William, and especially when they were together. William helped Diana to get into the boat and later he got into it and started rowing it. Diana was lying on William’s lap as he was rowing the boat.

“William, you’re not taking me fishing are you?” asked Diana with a giggle.

“No I’m not Diana, I’m taking you to this little island over there,” said William pointing to the island. Diana got up to see the island. It was small but big enough.

“Why are you taking me there?” asked Diana.

“Well my dad and I built a small cabin there and I wanted to show it to you,” answered William. Diana wondered why was it that William wanted to show her this cabin of his during the night, why couldn’t he show her during the day? Diana sat there wondering, but she daren’t say anything.

William dragged the boat closer to shore and grabbed the torchlight and held onto Diana’s hand, they had finally arrived on the little island. It was quite dark and it was a good thing William brought that torchlight. The land wasn’t covered with roads but instead a little path was dug up from the sand, which made it a little hard to walk.

“We’re here,” said William. Diana looked up and saw a little cabin, small but cozy.

“Oh, William it’s lovely!” said Diana smiling and feeling excited. William smiled at Diana and said “C’mon in then, it’s getting cold.” They both entered the small cabin and hung their coats. William went outside to find some firewood, so Diana stayed in. She was looking through William’s things and came across his drawer.

“Hello, what’s this?” said Diana as she picked up something from William’s drawer.

“Oh my god, it’s a gun!” said Diana, being very amused with the gun in her hand. Later, William came back carrying some firewood in his hands.

“Bang, bang!” shouted Diana as she pointed the gun at William, who was standing right in front of the door. William was so shocked that he almost dropped the firewood.

“Diana!” shouted William.

“I’m sorry William, it was just a joke!” said Diana as she giggled then made a puppy face, begging for forgiveness from William. William sighed and dropped the firewood into the fireplace.

“Where did you get this?” asked William as she grabbed the gun from Diana.

“Well, I found it in your drawer,” said Diana softly as she looked down.

“It’s my gun…” said William as he put it back into his drawer.

“Well I’m sorry…” said Diana softly as she moved closer to William.

“That’s all right, I have it for protection against anything! Or maybe even anyone!” said William.

“I see, have you… used it yet?” asked Diana.

“Once, I shot a bird,” said William. Diana nodded her head. He then boiled some water and made hot chocolate for the both of them. He then sat down next to her on the rug and cuddled next to her. He kissed her head and then her temple. Diana got closer and William kissed her cheeks.

“William, what if I stay?” asked Diana.

“It would be great, but you can’t,” said William.

“I mean my holiday isn’t to end yet, I’ve still have a month to go,” said Diana.

“But your mother needs you,” William interrupted.

“But I need you!” said Diana raising her voice.

“And I want to be with you,” continued Diana, as her voice grew softer. William grabbed Diana by the chin and gently faced her to his and looked into Diana’s eyes. As Diana looked into William’s beautiful blue eyes her tears started to form and they rolled down her cheeks. William wiped those tears from her teary eyes with his fingers gently. Then he caressed her cheeks and kissed them. Diana turned towards William, held him and kissed him passionately for a very long time. William looked into Diana’s eyes and he smiled at her, then using his tongue he traced Diana’s lips and then kissed her. They were both pashing on each other, touching each other, when William slid his hands into Diana’s top and took it off. Diana began to unbutton William’s shirt as they both continued kissing. William’s hands became very curious and wondered around, and he began touching Diana’s breast and caressing them.

“William,” Diana started. William looked at Diana, but she didn’t continue. William continued kissing Diana and soon his hands wandered through her shorts and he took them off. Later he took his off and he lay on top on Diana. He was inside Diana, he could feel Diana, and he could tell he loved her. Diana held onto William tightly as they both melted into each other and their two bodies became one. They both were warm and hot but it didn’t matter, because they were both so into each other and they couldn’t get enough of each other. Diana licked and kissed William’s shoulder and then kissed his neck. William looked at Diana and kissed her on her lips and then he moved his way down to her neck, chest and then her breast. They both got hotter and hotter,

“Diana, I love you,” said William.

“Diana, I love you so much!” William said again. And finally the night was over.

Their naked bodies lay next to each other as William kisses Diana’s body gently. They spent the night sleeping under each other’s arms, cuddling together. Diana would wake up some time scared not knowing where she was, but when she did William was next to her she knew she was safe and there was nothing to be afraid of. She would then get closer to William and she would fall asleep back into his arms.

The next morning, William found Diana outside. As he slowly opened the door, he stood there staring at Diana. He stared at her, seeing how much of an angel she looked liked, he knew he loved her so much, but there were no words for him to say it to her. William walked towards Diana and held her by her waist as he kissed her cheeks and then her neck. Diana smiled and closed her eyes, to always remember this perfect moment. They both stood next to each other hugging and cuddling one another.

“I love you, Diana…” William whispered into Diana’s ear.

“And I love you so much…” he continued.

“Mmm… I love you too, William,” Diana whispered. Then William kissed her hands.

Later that day, William rowed his boat back to the island with Diana lying on his lap. When they had arrived they both headed down to the hall to get some breakfast. William had a big breakfast, except Diana wasn’t too hungry. Later William walked Diana back to her cabin.

“You go and get some rest ok?” asked William, smiling at Diana as he caressed her cheeks.

“Ok,” said Diana, kissing his hand and then they both kissed. She closed the door behind her and checked her cellphone for any missed calls. There were a few from her friends, but more from her mother. She dialed for her mother and waited for someone to pick it up.

“Hello?” asked the person.

“Hello! Mother is that you?” asked Diana.

“Yes honey it’s me!” said her mother.

“Mother, I received your letter, please explain!” demanded Diana.

“Diana, you have to come home. You father is not feeling well,” pleaded her mother.

“Mother, why?” demanded Diana again with an angry tone.

“I have told you why! Now I need for you to come home, please Diana,” begged her mother.

“But mother, I can’t,” Diana said trying to explain.

“Mother, I… I met somebody here, he’s a young man and I want to be with him now,” Diana said trying to explain again.

“Oh, Diana there’s always other younger man for you everywhere. There’s always one here!” said her mother.

“But mother, he’s different. I really like him a lot, we spent every single day together and I loved every one,” said Diana.

“Diana, now is not the time for you to feel like this, your father is ill and we need you here,” begged her mother.

“Oh, mother I don’t want to go back, I’m afraid I won’t ever see him again,” said Diana starting to cry.

“Honey, once you get here you’ll forget all about him and you’ll find somebody else,” said her mother.

“No I won’t, no one is like William!” said Diana crying even harder.

Over the next three days, Diana spent more time with William even when he was working. Over at their meals, Diana didn’t seem to have any appetite and she was quiet most of the time. William tried to cheer her up by bringing her flowers each morning. Diana was very fond of William being so kind and caring for her, but it made it even more upsetting for her, because she knew she had to leave William and she didn’t want to. Her tears doubled each time she was with William and each time they kissed.

“Here, William I made this for you,” said Diana giving him the gift.

“What is it?” asked William, trying to open the box. He opened it and to his amazement it was a beautiful seashell with his name carved outside the shell.

“Go ahead open the shell,” said Diana. William opened the shell and saw Diana’s name carved inside.

“Wow…” he said softly.

“I have the exact same! See?” said Diana, showing William her shell.

“I found the exact seashell and both could be open, so I carved our names inside and outside,” explained Diana.

“Except on mine, it shows my name first, then inside shows yours,” Diana said, smiling at William. William leaned forward towards Diana and he gave her his deepest most passionate kiss.

Diana had tears in her eyes as they both kissed and William wiped them with his hands, while still kissing her. While they were kissing there was a knock on the door and William answered it, it was Mrs.Micheals.

“Love, your ride is here…” she said. Diana looked at William with tears in her eyes that were already rolling down her cheeks. William had tears in his eyes too, but he tried to hold them back.

Any second Diana grabbed William and held onto him and kept on saying,

“No William, I don’t want to leave!”

“Diana, the plane is here,” said William while caressing her head and kissing it.

“No William, I don’t want to leave you!” Diana shouted, still crying. William held Diana.

“I don’t want you to leave either, but you’ve got to,” said William as his tears rolled down his cheeks.

“William, I’m not letting you go. I don’t want to leave,” shouted Diana, as she shakes her head frantically saying no. William looked down at Diana and he couldn’t say anything, there was nothing he could say. Diana looked up at William and was about to say something but Mrs.Micheals interrupted them.

“Come on then love, the plane will need to leave soon,” said Mrs.Micheals wiping her eyes.

William carried Diana’s bags outside and she soon followed him outside. The plane was already in the water near the shore. Diana quickly looked at William with her eyes shocked and amazed. Her eyes asked if William was really going to let her go or not? Whether he was going to stop her or not? Then she broke into tears and grabbed onto William.

“Please no William, I don’t want to leave! And I’m not letting you go!” protested Diana. William held Diana and kissed her head.

“Go Diana, your plane is waiting for you,” said William as his tears fell from his eyes. Diana held onto William tightly for the last time and then she let go. They kissed their final kiss passionately and Diana walked through the water towards the plane. She got into it and quickly sat down next to the window and she was glued there. As the plane flew Diana’s eye met William’s and they were locked together until they could not see each other anymore.

In the plane there wasn’t a time Diana stopped crying and it made her cry even more to think of William. When Diana was fast asleep she would occasionally wake up and then she would realize that William was not by her side. She would then break into never ending tears. She knew if William was with her, holding her, there was nothing she was afraid of and now she was afraid. Diana was afraid to come home, afraid to be in a place where William was not there.

After a few hours in the plane, Diana finally arrived. Her mother was there to greet her with open arms. Diana walked over slowly and hugged her mother.

“Hello mother, it’s so nice to see you again,” said Diana softly and sadly.

“Oh Diana, you looked so sad,” said her mother.

“Yes I do mother,” replied Diana, as she looked down.

“I know why you’re sad honey, but look at the bright side,” her mother began.

“Mother! There is no bright side!” Diana interrupted and got into the car. While in the car there were no conversations between Diana and her mother.

“Your father’s doing fine now,” her mother began.

“That’s good to know,” said Diana. Then that was the end of it, her mother felt that she didn’t care much and neither was she in the mood to speak. All Diana did was look outside the window and stare at nothing, because the pictures were in her mind. Pictures of her and William together and the time they spent it together. Tears start to form in Diana’s eyes but she held them back, she didn’t want her mother to see her cry.

At home, Diana found her father in his office reading something. She knocked the door and entered the room.

“Father, I’m home,” said Diana softly to her father. He looked up and smiled as he saw his little girl, looking so beautiful. Even more beautiful recently, since her father hadn’t seen her for a while.

“Ah, my girl’s back! Back again with her daddy,” said her father proudly, as he opened his arms for her to hug him. She came nearer to him and hugged him. Later Diana broke into tears and her father asked

“Why are you crying sweetheart? Such a pretty face shouldn’t be upset and tears rolling down your sweet rosy cheeks. Tell me what is the matter?”

“Nothing, I just… missed you,” she said softly. Her father smiled and kissed her on her cheeks.

Over at dinner, Diana didn’t eat much and she was very quiet. Her father was quiet too and so was her mother. Diana looked over at her mother; her mother smiled but Diana just turned away. She kept playing with her food and didn’t eat a bite.

“May I be excused?” asked Diana as she got up. Both her parents just nodded their heads and continued eating. Diana did her dishes and ran upstairs to her room; there she cried and cried because she could not hold back any longer. Diana didn’t sleep that night, but instead she stared at the ceiling and thought of William, as tears would roll down from the side of her eyes.

William on the other hand was lying around not able to do his work properly and all he did was think of Diana. Thoughts of what they had together, how they spent their time and he wondered what she was doing at that moment. He missed her so much that he had no energy to do anything. He didn’t want to even eat, because normally she would be there to eat with him. He didn’t want to go for little walks like he usually did and all he did was think of her…

Over the next few weeks, Diana’s parents noticed that Diana had lost her appetite, she wasn’t sleeping well and she didn’t look well either. They also noticed that she had been throwing up a lot, so her parents decided to take her to the doctor. The doctor did a full check up on Diana and results showed she was fine.

“There is nothing wrong with your daughter, so you have nothing to worry about Mr. and Mrs. Entienne,” said the doctor with a big smile. Both Diana’s parents smiled back.

“And you don’t have to worry too because the baby’s fine!” said the doctor with an even bigger smile. Both Diana’s parents were shocked! They both exchanged looks from each other and then both looked at the doctor.

“Baby…?” Diana’s mother began asking.

“Why, yes. It’s only a few weeks but it’s growing fast!” answered the doctor excitedly. Diana’s father became a bit uncomfortable and he was moving about.

“Are you saying my daughter is carrying a baby in her?” asked her father angrily at the doctor. The doctor seemed confused, but answered the question,

“Yes, your daughter, Diana, has been pregnant for a few weeks now.” Both Diana’s parents were in the shock of their lives.

Once they arrived home, Diana was about to run up to her room when her father stopped her. He took her into the living room and Diana found her mother there crying. She quickly sat down next to her mother, trying to comfort her.

“Mother what is the matter?” asked Diana. Her mother just looked at her and kept on crying. Then she looked at her father and her father was walking back and forth and Diana knew her father was angry, but she didn’t know at what or who.

“Father,” she began. He turned to her and she could see it in his eyes how furiously mad he was, so Diana didn’t continue. After a while her father seemed to calm down, his pace became slower and finally he sat down. He took a deep breath and began to say,

“Diana, I want you to be honest with me,”

“Did you or did you not have sexual intercourse with someone?” asked her father. Diana was so stunned by that question that she didn’t breathe for a while. Then her father repeated the question. Diana looked at her father and then her mother, who was still crying, and then she looked down.

Her father got off from his seat and came closer to Diana, he held her by her hand.

“Diana, I asked you, did you or did you not have sexual intercourse with someone? Answer the question Diana!” shouted her father.

“Yes father, I did,…” answered Diana softly.

“Repeat that loudly, would you please Diana,” shouted her father again.

“Yes I did father!” Diana shouted, as she cried in embarrassment. Her father pushed her down onto the floor and walked away. Her mother was crying even more but she helped Diana up and they both were crying. Her father kept walking back and forth mumbling to himself.

“Diana, you’re not to go out!” said her father, finally saying something.

“What…?” asked Diana.

“You heard me child! You’ve brought shame to me! What if everyone finds out? That’s why they can’t and that is why you are not to go out!” shouted her father, again.

“But father… what about my friends? I would want to see them and they would want to see me,” said Diana, trying to explain as tears roll down her cheeks.

“Your friends? Because of friends you did this to yourself! And look at yourself now, you pregnant child!” said her father.

“I did this to myself!” shouted Diana proudly.

“Yes you! You did this to yourself! Just look at yourself! You’ve got yourself into trouble,” shouted her father while shaking his head.

“This is no trouble for me father! I’m honestly happy I’m pregnant, I’m carrying his child!” said Diana proudly. Her father turned and slapped her.

“Don’t you dare say that in front of me! You ungrateful child you!” shouted her father, and then he left slamming the door behind him. Diana cried and her mother comforted her as she cries too.

“Mother,” said Diana still crying. Her mother wiped her eyes and said

“It’s alright honey, why don’t you go back to you room and take a rest.” Diana nodded her head and head for her room upstairs.

In her room, she cried and cried her heart out. She cried until she couldn’t cry anymore and finally she cried herself to sleep. The next morning she woke with her eyes feeling so sore that she couldn’t really open them. She stayed in bed for a while and then got ready, but she didn’t come down for breakfast because she wasn’t hungry. She decided to look for the pamphlets on the island and found them. She read through and found the phone number. Hoping it was the correct number; she dialed and waited for it to connect. Soon it started to ring, so she waited for someone to pick it up. After a while a lady picked it up and she recognized it was Mrs.Micheals.

“Mrs.Micheals is that you?” asked Diana straight away.

“Why yes,” she answered.

“Mrs.Micheals it’s me! Diana” said Diana.

“Oh, hello there love,” she greeted Diana with a happy tone.

“Hi, Mrs.Micheals. Is William around? If he is, could I please speak to him? It’s very important!” she begged.

“Of course, hold on I’ll get him for you,” answered Mrs.Micheals. She put the phone down next to her and Diana could hear her call for William. Later the phone was picked up again,

“Hello?” asked a person.

“William? Is that you? It’s me Diana!” asked Diana.

“Diana? Is it really you?” he asked.

“Yes, it’s really me William!” she answered.

“Oh William, I’ve missed you so!” she continued.

“Diana! Oh Diana, I’ve missed you even more!” he said.

“So how are you?” he asked her, feeling concerned.

“I’m terrible without you William! I hadn’t eaten nor slept well. Oh William I miss you so much!” she said as she started to cry.

“I know, I’ve been the same. I haven’t been able to do my work properly, but it’s a good thing people here understand me,” he explained. Diana closed her eyes and stayed quiet.

“Diana? Are you there?” asked William.

“Yes, I’m here William,” answered Diana.

“I was closing my eyes and hearing you speak, and I could just imagine you here right next to me,” continued Diana.

“William,” she began.

“Yeah?” asked William.

“I have to tell you something and it’s really important,” said Diana softly.

“Alright, you can tell me anything,” said William trying to sound a little comforting.

“William, do you remember that night in your cabin?” asked Diana.

“Well, yes I do remember that night, how can I forget?” asked William.

“Neither can I William, but William…” said Diana, who was afraid to continue.

“What is it? What’s the matter?” asked William. Diana began to cry softly.

“William, I’m pregnant now…” confessed Diana as she cried even more. William kept silence for a while and Diana cried on the other side.

“Ssshhh… it’s ok,” William started to say.

“William, I don’t know what you think of this, but to be honest I’m happy that I am. I’m carrying your child…” said Diana softly.

“Diana, I thought the same. I’m not mad or anything! I proud of it! Because there was so much love in and around us that night, and now we’ve both got something to remember of our loving night together,” said William softly. Diana began to cry even more, but in happiness.

After a while Diana had to go because her mother was calling her downstairs.

“I’ll call you again William,” said Diana.

“And I’ll be waiting,” said William. And then they both put down their phones.

After a few months, Diana was still not allowed outside the house, her father locked her inside the house. She wasn’t allowed to see her friends and neither were her friends allowed to see her. They were allowed to speak over the phone, but nothing more. Diana would tell them everything about William and how the spent their days together. Diana even told them about that night and what had come out from that. They were a bit upset to hear that she was pregnant because she was pregnant all the way here and he’s all the way there to even care, but once Diana had explained what William had told her they began to understand how much Diana and William loved each other. Diana even told them that her pregnancy was starting to show and she was very excited about it. They all were very happy for Diana, except her father. Her father would often come home drunk and then he would see Diana, he would slap her and beat her, and tell her how much she had embarrassed her family. Then he would lock her in her room for days. Diana would cry and cry, but she knew her father was ill and there was nothing she could do to help him, but just tolerate him.

Diana was feeling very excited especially because her pregnancy was starting to show, she was also starting to eat more. Diana thought she would call and tell William about it so she took the number and phoned the island. She waited for it to connect and then for someone to pick it up.

“Hello?” asked the person.

“Hi, is this Mrs.Micheals?” asked Diana.

“Yes,” said Mrs.Micheals.

“Great, may I please speak to William, this is Diana,” said Diana.

“Oh, hello dear! How are you?” asked Mrs.Micheals.

“I’m fine thank you,” answered Diana.

“Good to hear love, just a minute I’ll go and get Willy for you!” said Mrs.Micheals. After a while someone answered,

“Diana, are you there?” asked the person.

“William is that you?” asked Diana.

“Yes, Diana it’s me!” answered William quickly.

“Oh William, I missed you so much! I missed your voice!” said Diana in a happy tone as tears started to form in her eyes.

“I missed you too Diana, all the time!” said William.

“William, it’s starting to show!” said Diana excitedly.

“What is?” asked William confused.

“My pregnancy…,” said Diana softly.

“Oh my,” said William feeling amazed.

“Yes William,” said Diana softly as she smiled. They both started laughing for joy and Diana cried even more as she laughed and smiled. Then Diana began to tell William about her father. How he treated her when he comes home drunk and how she’s not allowed outside at all. Some times she would be locked in her room for days. William listened with a worried and sad heart and he began to have tears falling down from his eyes.

“Oh William, I so want to be with you, it’s terrible here for me! I want to stay with you!” begged Diana.

“I know, I want that too, more than anything Diana,” explained William.

“But how do I go there William? I would need permission from father to get the captain to send me to the island,” explained Diana.

“Hmm… I know a man who owns a plane… I’ll go and talk to him and explain everything,” said William.

“Alright, I’ll call you again in two days,” said Diana.

“Ok, Diana you take care of yourself and…our baby,” said William softly. Diana began to cry as William said that, and then they said their good byes and Diana waited anxiously for those two days.

Two days, Diana had to wait and those two days seemed like two weeks, especially for Diana because her father was getting ill and ill and she was paying for it. More bruises were on Diana’s body, but there was no harm done to the baby or anything that would harm the baby. Diana’s mother didn’t say much each time that her father would beat Diana because she was scared, mostly she would keep quiet. After two days Diana phoned William again that night and spoke to him.

“Yes, I’ve explained everything to the man and he is willing to help us,” explained William.

“Oh how wonderful! Take me William, I can’t stand it here anymore!” begged Diana as she cried.

“I will my darling, soon,” said William.

“How soon?” asked Diana.

“He would fly tomorrow, but you must be ready the following day,” said William.

“I will,” said Diana.

“It would be after midnight, so you could sneak out and nobody would be able to see you and your parents would be asleep,” explained William again.

“That’s right! My parents would be asleep by then!” said Diana.

“Alright, I’ll see you soon!” said William.

“Yes soon!” said Diana, then they said good-bye. Diana thought of what to bring, but she knew she couldn’t bring much, so she took what was needed. She called her friend the following day to ask whether she could go and see if the man with the plane had already arrived.

Her friend checked the docks and called Diana later that day and told her that there was a man with a plane and he was to take her the following day. Diana was very excited that following night; she couldn’t fall asleep because she needed to go by midnight. When midnight came she sneaked out of the house and waited for her friend. She came in a car and pulled up at the side of the road. Diana got in and they drove off towards the docks. In the car her friends were very excited to see how well her pregnancy was and they were very happy for her.

Once they arrived at the docks, Diana thanked her friends and hugged and kissed them. They cried as they saw her aboard the plane and took off. Once in the plane Diana felt relieved, because she was away from everything and especially her father, and now she was on her way to see William again. This time she knew that there was no way she wanted to leave him, she wanted to stay with him for as long as she could and raise her baby with him. They would be together and doing things together again, then she soon fell asleep.

The next morning she was awakened by the sweet smell of daisies and roses around her. It was all a blur to her when she opened her eyes; she closed them again and opened them. The first clear image she was able to see was somebody’s clear blue eyes and she knew that that person was William. She opened her eyes so wide to make sure if it was William and it was William, sitting right there in front of her eyes smiling. She grabbed onto him and cried on his shoulder.

“Oh William, I’ve missed you so,” cried Diana.

“I know, I missed you too,” said William caressing her head and kissing her. Diana cried and cried and she just held onto William, she didn’t want to let go because she was afraid that if she did she might never see him again.

“Diana,” William began.

“Yes William,” asked Diana looking up. Then as she looked up William quickly kissed her passionately. And at that moment they just held onto each other and kissed.

“My how you’ve grown,” said William laughing as he looked at Diana stomach.

“William!” said Diana. William laughed a little bit.

“I’m only kidding darling,” said William.

“So this is our child hey?” asked William.

“Yup! This is it,” said Diana.

“Well not to worry, I’ll take care of everything!” explained William.

“I know you will honey, I know,” said Diana softly as she leaned forward to kiss William.

Over the next few days, William never left Diana alone. He too was afraid maybe if he did, he would lose her again. He did everything for her, he cooked for her, and he brought flowers every single day for her and made everything for her. During the night they would mostly spend time down at the beach walking and talking and during the day they would also spend time together, sometimes swimming.

One night, Diana called one of her friends. When she spoke to her friend, Amy, Amy was so worried about Diana.

“Are you alright?” asked Amy.

“Yes, I’m fine thank you! It’s so wonderful to be back here!” said Diana.

“Diana, listen! I’m afraid your father knows that you’re there and I’ve heard from my uncle who works down at the docks that he might want to take a trip there to take you home!” explained Amy.

“Are you sure of this Amy?” asked Diana feeling so worried and terrified.

“Yes I’m sure of it! My uncle told me something about it, because you are my friend, and the story was about you running away with some guy.” Explained Amy.

“Oh my gosh, when is he leaving? Amy please find out not I need to now,” begged Diana.

“Alright I’ll call my uncle now and find out, you hold on,” said Amy. A few minutes later Amy called Diana and told her

“Diana, he… he left this morning…” said Amy.

“Oh my, that means he would be arriving tonight,” said Diana starting to cry.

“Tell William!” said Amy.

“I will…” said Diana. She then thanked Amy for her help and they both put down the phone.

Diana waited till it was teatime for her to tell William. William had had such a long day from working and then coming back to check on how Diana was. She slowly told him everything and William listened carefully. He wasn’t too happy about it but there were no other ways to stop him. William took a while to think as he eat and drank his tea.

“I know, why don’t we hide out at my cabin?” he finally said.

“That’s a great idea!” said Diana.

“Hopefully!” said William.

“Well go right after this,” William drank the last of his tea and ate the last piece of bread and then grabbed Diana by her hand and they both walked down to the information cabin. In the information cabin they explained everything to Mrs.Micheals and she said that if anyone asked for either Diana or William, there were no such person here. As they left Mrs.Micheals told them to be careful, they thanked her and continued walking towards William’s little boat.

As William rowed Diana sat in front of him, she had tears in her eyes but she wiped them, she didn’t want William to see she was crying. She smiled at William and William smiled back. They arrived on the little island and William dragged the boat and then took some branches and leaves to hide the boat. They walked hand in hand towards the cabin and William lit up the fire to warm them up. Diana made some hot drinks for the both of them and they sat down next to each other drinking their hot drinks. William leaned closer to Diana and kissed her neck, her cheeks and finally her ear.

“I love you,…” he whispered in her ear. Diana looked into William’s eyes as she leaned to kiss him. As they were pashing, William slid his hand under her top and then he leaned down and kissed her stomach. Diana giggled and she lay down as William came crawling and lay down next to her, soon the two lovers fell asleep next to each other.

Diana was awakened by a loud noise, she didn’t think it was anything and ignored it. Suddenly the door banged open and there stood somebody. Diana got up and tried to see whom it was. The person had a gun in his hand and then he stepped into the cabin and closed the door behind him. He turned the lights on and to Diana’s shock it was her father, he looked so mad. Diana woke William up and William woke up asking why. Diana pointed at her father and William saw. William tried to get up but her father came near and kicked him. William fell to the side of Diana and Diana tried to see how William was, but her father grabbed her by her hair and pulled her away. He threw her to the door and went back for William. He started to beat William with his gun, knocking on William. Diana ran to her father and begged him not to hurt William but her father just threw her to the side.

“Father please! I’ll go home! Just please father please don’t hurt William!” begged Diana as tears rolled down her cheeks. Her father looked at her and grabbed her face.

“Such a pretty girl, tears should not fall from your rosy cheeks at all,” said her father.

“Father you’re ill, please!” begged Diana. He slapped Diana twice and pushed her to the door.

“Get out Diana, wait for me outside!” shouted her father as he aimed his gun towards William.

William got up and dived for her father and he missed the shot. William started punching Diana’s father and kicking him. William went through his drawer while Diana’s father was down and took his gun out, he gave it to Diana.

“Here, protect yourself!” said William.

“What about you? You need this more than I do, he would never hurt me!” said Diana.

“Yes he would, haven’t you seen those bruises on your body?” asked William. Diana looked down and cried.

“I meant he wouldn’t really hurt me,” explained Diana. William came closer and hugged Diana. They both looked at each other, and then Diana reached her hand to William’s head and tried to wipe the blood away. Then William took Diana’s hand and pressed it against his cheeks as he closed his eyes and kissed her hand. Diana’s tears fell even more from her eyes and William wiped them. They leaned forward and kissed each other deeply and passionately. While kissing William, Diana’s tears fell from her eyes even more, but William just wiped them as the kissed. They were interrupted by another noise. William turned around and saw Diana’s father aiming the gun, William quickly pushed Diana away and her father pulled the trigger. Within seconds William fell to the ground, just before Diana’s eyes. Diana was too shocked to think of anything to say. She just sat there blinking her eyes a few times, as tears fell from her eyes, to make sure if it was real.

“Father are you mad?” Diana shouted real loud as she looked up at her father asking him, finally realizing that she hadn’t said anything. Her father looked at her and laughed. He laughed like a mad man as he held his stomach finding it very amusing. His laughter made Diana so mad that she took William’s gun out and aimed it at him.

“Well I guess it runs in the family then!” shouted Diana as she pulled the trigger. Diana had shot her father right in the head, and within seconds he fell to the ground dead. Diana sat there crying for a while and then she crawled over to William. She daren’t move William to any position except facing her. She lay next to William with his face facing her.

“William?” asked Diana softly as she gently shook his body, and then she broke into tears. William opened his eyes and smiled. He was so happy that the first thing he saw as he opened his eyes was Diana. He had the biggest smile on his face; Diana smiled too as tears rolled down her cheeks. She was happy to see him too, alive.

“Kiss me Diana,” said William.

“It could be my last,” William continued as looked into her eyes.

“Don’t you say that William,” said Diana crying even more as she moved forward to hug him. Diana came closer and gave William her deepest most passionate kiss, which had so much love inside, and it came from her and from the bottom of her heart.

“Diana, I like you,” said William softly smiling as he licked his lips.

“I Like you a lot!” he continued, as he smiled. His deep blue eyes were locked on hers as he stared at her, his eyes shone and within a few seconds William’s eyes closed and his body lay soulless next to Diana. Diana looked at him for a long time as tears fell from her eyes without stopping. She cried and cried, she cried moaning as tears just kept coming down from her eyes. She cried until there was no sound coming from her. Diana sat there crying while she looked at William; she wanted to always remember how he looked like, even when he wasn’t smiling. Diana thought of how much she loved his smiles and she loved it when he grinned at her. Memories of them started to pour into Diana’s head and she then broke into tears even more. Later she crawled over near her father, she kicked him aside and grabbed William’s gun and then she crawled back to William. She lay next to him as she put his head on her arm and she put his arms around her. She hugged William for a very long time, as she cried on his shoulder. She kept caressing his cheeks and wiping the blood away from the side of his head. She leaned forward and kissed William for a very long time, just to feel his lips again.

“I like you too William,” Diana said as she leaned forward to kiss William again and she left her lips on his as she pulled the trigger of the gun that was aimed at her head. They both lay there hugging and cuddling each other. Diana knew that she would be all right, because she was with William again and he was by her side hugging her. Both Diana’s and William’s body lay soulless next to each other, together…
